Veterinary Surgeon – Heywood

My client is seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. In this full-time role, you will work independently, providing high-quality veterinary care to small animals. Your responsibilities will include performing routine surgeries such as spays, castrations, c-sections, lump removals, and dentals, as well as conducting consultations and interpreting blood results.

Role Details:

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends (not every weekend), from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Salary: £38,700 – £60,000, based on experience.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
RCVS Registered
Experience working with small animals
Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and pathology
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills with pet owners and team members
Compassionate and empathetic towards animals
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
