An exciting and rare opportunity has just become available with an independent veterinary team based in Kent. We are looking for a confident and progressive Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established team. We welcome applicants with a variety of interests, whether its orthopaedics, medicine, imaging, or anything else—if youre passionate about your field and eager to grow, youll fit right in.

This busy practice handles a diverse caseload, including orthopaedics, medicine, and imaging, and serves as a referral hub in the region. You’ll be joining a talented four-vet team, alongside sister practices, all operating in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside.

Unlike corporate practices, we are owned and operated by vets who understand the value of supporting one another. There are no corporate pressures here—just a great team of professionals who respect each others skills and interests.

Located in Kent, the practice is easily accessible from London by train or car, and close to major UK airports, making it ideal for those wishing to travel or further their knowledge in the UK. The practice also offers fantastic accommodation for staff members.

As an independently owned large surgery, we pride ourselves on offering great opportunities for progression. You’ll work alongside certificate-holding vets who are an integral part of the team. If you’re not a certificate holder yourself, we’re happy to support you in gaining further qualifications, whether you want to specialise or enhance your skills. For those not interested in pursuing a certificate, there are still plenty of opportunities for CPD to help you stay motivated and engaged.

The practice is equipped with advanced imaging tools, including ultrasound, a range of endoscopes, keyhole surgery equipment, dental x-ray, and TPLO equipment to support your work and enable you to perform high-quality procedures.

We’re incredibly proud of our team’s success and reputation. Over the years, we’ve won numerous UK Best Vet Awards, and our reputation within the industry and with clients speaks for itself.

Our rota is another point of pride: we offer an enviable 2.5-day working week following your weekend, giving you plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work and extend your holidays. This is the perfect role for someone seeking better work-life balance without compromising on career growth.

If you’re tired of being just another number in a corporate setting and want to be part of a dynamic, supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
