Are you looking to thrive in a progressive, independent veterinary practice with a genuine commitment to work-life balance and clinical freedom?

We’re working with a well-established group of three independent clinics who pride themselves on providing high-quality, accessible care with a strong primary care ethos. They’ve recently opened a brand-new, gold-standard cat-only clinic and offer fantastic in-house facilities to minimise the need for external referrals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading the clinical team when required

Handling routine surgical and medical cases with confidence

Defining your role with freedom—ideal for those with a special interest

Supporting the development of your colleagues

What They’re Looking For:

A veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years of experience

Strong client care and communication skills

An interest in coaching others

A passion for managing chronic cases

Further qualifications (certificate holders welcome!)

The Perks:

4-day week (8:45am–6:30pm) plus 1 in 5 Saturdays (9am–12pm)

Option for a 3-day week (pro rata)

Additional 1 in 5 rota for hospitalised patient care

No out-of-hours—covered by Vets Now

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

£1,500 CPD allowance

VDS & RCVS fees paid

Annual pay reviews

Company pension scheme

Generous staff discount

Who You Are:
Organised, compassionate, and passionate about your profession. You love working as part of a team, are motivated to always improve, and value a workplace culture that supports both personal and professional growth.

The Location:
This vibrant, well-connected town offers excellent schools, housing, and access to the stunning countryside and historic cities like Bath, Bristol, and Oxford. With great transport links—including proximity to Heathrow and Bristol Airport—it’s perfect for weekend adventures, too!
