This independent small animal practice is offering a fantastic weekend-only opportunity for a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. With excellent facilities—including two theatres, digital and dental x-ray, full IDEXX lab equipment, and separate cat/dog wards—you’ll have everything you need to deliver high-quality care.

The Role:

Sole charge on 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 Saturdays

Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Supported by a capable team of nurses and support staff

What You’ll Be Doing:

Carrying out thorough consultations and diagnostics

Performing surgical procedures to a high clinical standard

Developing tailored treatment plans

Communicating clearly with pet owners to support preventative care and recovery

Maintaining accurate, detailed clinical records

Staying current through ongoing CPD

What’s On Offer:

Competitive daily rate or pro-rata salary (up to £60,000 FTE, depending on experience)

What You’ll Need:

MRCVS-qualified with the right to work in the UK

Minimum 2 years’ UK practice experience
