Staffordshire | Full Time | £38,000–£70,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, with new graduates very welcome, to join a progressive, independent practice in Staffordshire as it enters a major new phase of growth with the launch of a brand-new Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre.

This role offers an excellent platform for both recent graduates and developing clinicians, with strong clinical support, structured mentorship, and the chance to grow within a modern, forward-thinking hospital environment.

The Practice

This independent practice has grown rapidly over the past three years and is now expanding into a purpose-built hospital with on-site rehabilitation facilities. The hospital will include:
Two fully equipped theatres
Dedicated dental suite
Imaging suite with DR X-ray, Doppler ultrasound and endoscopy
Separate dog and cat wards (Fear-Free focused)
Outdoor space for patients and staff
On-site rehabilitation including hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill and physiotherapy

The practice is transparent with pricing, offers capped emergency fees, and provides fixed-cost hospitalisation and surgery, enabling excellent patient care while maintaining strong client trust.

The Team

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team including experienced vets with interests in ECC, internal medicine, cardiology and soft-tissue surgery, alongside a strong nursing team of RVNs and a SVN.
The practice also works closely with visiting orthopaedic surgeons, allowing cruciate and fracture repair cases to be managed in-house.

Salary & Benefits
£38,000 – £70,000 depending on experience
