Salary: £45,000 – £75,000+ DOE
4-Day Week | No OOH | Independent Practice
Are you looking for a genuinely supportive independent practice where clinical freedom, progression, and work-life balance actually exist?
My client, a thriving independent mixed practice in Worcestershire, is looking for an additional Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their highly experienced 14-vet team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a vet wanting to develop their medical and surgical skills within a collaborative, progressive environment that actively supports career progression, certificates, and clinical interests.
Why This Role Stands Out
This isn’t your average first-opinion role. My client manages a high level of complex medical and surgical cases in-house, offering excellent exposure, strong mentorship, and real clinical satisfaction.
Whether your passion lies in surgery, medicine, imaging, exotics, orthopaedics, or internal medicine, this team genuinely invests in helping vets develop their interests.
The Role
Full-time, 4-day week (8:30am – 6:30pm)
Fixed day off each week
No out-of-hours – dedicated provider covers emergencies
Protected admin time built into the day
Realistic and sustainable rota
Shared weekend rota with a light commitment
Supportive senior vet backup always available
The Practice
You’ll be joining a well-established independent practice with an exceptional local reputation and a genuinely collaborative team culture.
The clinical team includes:
14 experienced Veterinary Surgeons
Multiple certificate holders across surgery, medicine, dermatology, orthopaedics and exotics
9 RVNs and student nurses
