With a strong local reputation for exceptional client care, this independently run practice (within a larger brand group) has been serving the community for almost a decade. The clinic is well-equipped with ultrasound, in-house lab facilities, and x-ray, including a dedicated, thoughtfully designed euthanasia room to support clients and their pets through difficult moments with dignity and comfort.

The practice performs a mix of routine and orthopaedic surgeries and benefits from a stable team of 2 full-time vets, supported by a strong and supportive nursing team along with a friendly and efficient admin team. Their culture is sociable and upbeat, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and wellbeing.

What they’re looking for: A Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, confident in general small animal surgery and medicine. You should be passionate about animal welfare, calm under pressure, and eager to learn and grow.

The role:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

1 in 3 weekends

No OOH

Flexible working, including school hours

Dedicated break times to support a healthy work/life balance

What’s on offer:

Salary up to £60,000 DOE
