Salary Range: £50,000 – £70,000 for roving role, £70,000 – £100,000 for branch role

My client, a well-established, independent veterinary practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, is seeking enthusiastic and skilled veterinary surgeons to join their dedicated team. This practice fosters a collaborative environment where a group of 13 supportive vets and a skilled nursing team (12 RVNs and 10 auxiliary nurses) work closely to provide high-quality care. With 20-30 surgical procedures per day, a minimum of 2 hours of daily operating time for every vet, and a well-equipped main center (5 theatres) plus 7 branches, you will find variety and growth within your role.

Position Highlights:

Roving Vet Role: Expand your expertise across branches in a supportive team environment. Work hours 9:00 am – 6:30 pm, with Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7:30 pm.

Branch Role: Manage and grow your own branch with a monthly performance bonus for increased turnover. Branch hours 9:00 am – 6:30 pm, with extended hours on two days.

Requirements:

Minimum 1+ years (roving role) or 2-3+ years (branch role) recent UK small animal experience
