Experienced Veterinary Surgeon – Northumberland – Up to £85k + Partnership Option + Flexible Working

We’re working with a forward-thinking and truly independent practice in Northumberland that’s looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive, close-knit team. Whether you’re keen to step into a senior role or simply want a position that offers real autonomy and clinical freedom — this is an opportunity worth considering.

Our client is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care without the pressure of meeting sales targets. With 20-minute consults as standard and full support to lead cases from start to finish, you’ll have everything you need to focus on doing the job you love. The practice is well-equipped with digital and dental x-ray, laparoscopic and orthopaedic kit, endoscopy, multi-parameter monitoring, and more. A clinical directorship or even partnership/shareholding is available for the right person.

What’s on offer:

Salary up to £85,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Flexible full or part-time working

6.6 weeks of annual leave

Certificates and CPD actively funded and encouraged

Relocation package available

On-call from home (1 weekday evening + 1 in 4 weekends, negotiable) with nursing support

Option for senior vet or clinical director position

Potential for practice partnership

Who we’re looking for:

A confident Small Animal Vet with at least 2 years experience

A strong communicator who values collaboration and continuity of care

Someone with a special interest or desire to pursue certificates
