Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice – Guildford, Surrey

My client, an independent small animal practice located just 10 minutes from Guildford town centre, is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a practice that offers genuine continuity of care and its own out-of-hours provision.

The Role:

Full or part-time position available

1:4 weekends (Saturday 8:30–16:30, Sunday 9:30–12:30, with evening on-call)

One night on-call per week

Bank Holidays shared fairly across the team

The practice is well-equipped with digital X-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring, in-house lab machines, dental facilities, and more.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £80,000 – higher negotiable for the right candidate

About You:

You’ll be a passionate, team-oriented Veterinary Surgeon with excellent clinical and communication skills. Youll join a dedicated team of 3.5–4 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs and 5 Receptionists who all work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care to their patients.
