My client, a friendly and growing independent small animal practice based in Darlington, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and experienced team. Situated between Leeds and Newcastle on the edge of North Yorkshire, the clinic offers a welcoming environment and beautifully refurbished premises with modern facilities.

The Role:

Full or part-time considered (24–36 hours per week)

1:4 Saturday mornings

No out-of-hours – covered by a nearby dedicated OOH provider

Accommodation available in an on-site flat

You’ll be working alongside a collaborative team of 3 Vets (one part-time), 4 RVNs, 1 student nurse (as a VNTP), and 4 Receptionists – with over 60 years of combined experience in general practice.

This role would suit both experienced vets and confident new graduates, with excellent mentorship available and a genuine focus on career development.
