About the Role
We’re working with a small, independent, RVN-led mobile veterinary service based in Wigan, currently seeking a Part-Time Mobile Vet to join their compassionate and growing team.

This role offers a genuine alternative to traditional clinical work. You’ll provide preventative and diagnostic care in a calm, home-based setting — supporting pets and owners who may struggle to access in-practice services. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced RVN, allowing you to focus on delivering quality care without the pressure of emergency or surgical cases.

No on-call. No chaotic consult rooms. Just meaningful, patient-focused work delivered in a more relaxed and rewarding way.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct home-based consultations (vaccinations, chronic care, general check-ups)

Perform at-home diagnostics (e.g. blood samples, urinalysis) with RVN support

Deliver peaceful, in-home euthanasia services

Complete Animal Health Certificates (AHCs) as needed

Work remotely for result reviews, client calls, and follow-ups

Support continuity of care through effective communication and note-taking

Requirements
MRCVS-qualified with current RCVS registration

Full UK driving licence

Experience with routine consults and a strong interest in mobile services

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Flexible availability (around 20 hours/week, including occasional Saturday mornings)
