Veterinary Surgeon – SE London

My client in SE London is seeking a communicative and capable Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive, modern, fully independent small animal practice. This position has become available due to ongoing growth and increasing demand.

Salary: £55,000 – £75,000
Hours: 4 days per week, 9am–7pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–1pm)
No out-of-hours or bank holiday work
Experience: Minimum 3 years, with confidence in sole charge when required

The practice is purpose-built and modern, with a carefully selected, positive, and collaborative team. You will work closely with the practice directors, ensuring your input helps shape the clinic as it continues to grow.

Facilities include:
? Digital X-ray and ultrasound
? Spacious operating theatre
? Two consult rooms plus a dedicated RVN consult room
? Separate cat ward
? In-house laboratory
? Comfortable staff welfare space

The Role

This is a varied first-opinion position offering full clinical freedom and support to work cases up to a high standard. You will play a key role in delivering excellent clinical care and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience for both clients and patients.

Key duties:
? Provide warm, professional client and patient interactions
? Perform a range of surgical procedures
? Manage inpatients to a high clinical standard
? Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions
? Deliver compassionate and informative consultations
? Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
