Salary: £31,000+ DOE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a highly regarded independent small animal practice based in the Southampton area. This is a close-knit, non-corporate group with multiple sites, an experienced surgical team, and a genuinely supportive working environment.

The Role
You will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice, delivering high-quality patient care and supporting both clients and clinicians.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with consultations, surgeries, and procedures
Anaesthetic monitoring and recovery care
Pre- and post-operative nursing
Nurse consultations
In-patient care and hospitalisation duties
Laboratory sample collection and diagnostics
Client education and support
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Upholding high standards of hygiene and organisation
Participation in weekend and OOH rotas
About You
Registered Veterinary Nurse (or eligible to register)
Previous practice experience preferred
Confident, organised, and clinically competent
Compassionate with excellent client communication skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Keen to learn, develop, and be involved in a progressive practice
