An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join my client, a highly respected independent practice in the Hertfordshire area. This role is ideal for a confident clinician seeking clinical autonomy, a strong nursing team, and a well-supported caseload within a genuinely progressive environment.

The Role & Rota
4 x 10-hour weekday shifts
1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–1pm), paid in addition
One late finish per week (9am–7pm)
Late Friday only when working the Saturday
Mix of consulting and surgery, with responsibility as Primary Operating Vet
This rota is designed to support work–life balance without compromising clinical standards.

Salary, CPD & Benefits
Salary: £65,000 per annum with accommodation provided OR £70,000 per annum without accommodation
Accommodation: Self-contained flat, all bills and Wi-Fi included
CPD: £1,500 allowance plus up to 5 days
RCVS fees paid
Holiday:6.6 weeks (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
Plus an extra day off for your birthday
