About the Practice
A friendly, independent veterinary practice with multiple branch sites in West Berkshire is seeking an additional Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced 5-vet team. The main branch is set in a picturesque rural area between Reading and Newbury, with additional branches in nearby towns.
The practice offers a supportive and collaborative environment with a well-equipped clinical setup, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Out-of-hours cover is provided by an external service, and Saturday morning rota is shared among the vets.
The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced vet who can support the development of junior team members. Some sole-charge responsibility is required, but assistance and guidance are always available. Opportunities exist to pursue personal clinical interests, complete certificates, or take responsibility for developing a branch surgery.
Working Patterns & Benefits
Flexible working: 4.5 or 4-day week available, rota adaptable to your needs
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
