An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive, friendly and highly experienced 24-hour small animal practice in Lincolnshire. The practice is well established, supportive, and committed to helping you develop new skills and grow into the vet you aspire to be.
Whether you are already working in ECC or considering a move into emergency and critical care, this role could be an excellent fit.
The Role & Benefits
Night position
7 on / 14 off rota
Weeknights: 7:30pm – 8:30am
Weekends: 6:30pm – 8:30am
Supported by a strong and experienced team of RVNs

Salary up to £80,000 per annum

Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ UK experience
Comfortable managing emergency and critical care cases
Confident working independently overnight
A collaborative and proactive approach to ECC work
Emergency & Out of Hours Care
The practice provides its own in-house 24-hour emergency service, ensuring continuity of care for patients with full access to clinical records. Overnight staffing is flexible depending on patient needs, with vets on site for critically ill inpatients and frequent overnight assessments as required.
The practice is based in a modern, spacious, newly refurbished building, offering:
Large waiting area with separation of dogs, cats and small pets
Separate dog and cat wards, including gold-standard cat housing
Isolation and barrier nursing facilities
Extensive in-house laboratory with same-day results
Dedicated sterile operating theatre
Separate dental and minor procedures area
Digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG and blood pressure monitoring
Species Treated
Primarily:
Dogs
Cats
Ferrets
Rabbits
Guinea pigs
Basic routine and emergency care is also provided for birds, reptiles, rodents and wildlife, with referral pathways available for more specialist cases.
