Vacancy: Experienced Veterinary Surgeon – Surrey

A well-established, friendly independent veterinary practice in Surrey is seeking a Full-Time Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and collaborative team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident small-animal vet who enjoys delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care and working closely with a team of experienced colleagues. The practice prides itself on building strong client relationships while maintaining a compassionate and professional environment.

The Role:
Full-time: 40 hours/week (4 x 10-hour shifts, 8:30am–6:30pm, paid 30 min lunch) Monday–Friday
1 in 3 Saturdays: 8am–4pm (10-hour weekday in lieu, plus free lunch!)
No OOH or on-call duties (inpatient hospitalisation supported by an alternative branch)
Combination of consultation and surgery days, with at least one surgery day per week
Work alongside experienced vets, nurses, and support staff in a welcoming team environment
Equipment includes laser therapy, ultrasound (cardiac and linear probes), dental X-ray, wireless X-ray plate, and video otoscope

About You:
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
Minimum of 3 years’ small-animal experience
Confident in routine surgery and consultations
Team player with excellent communication skills
Passionate about animal welfare and client care
Vet GDP advisor experience would be a bonus

Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary from £45,000+, depending on experience
£1,500 + 4 days CPD allowance (potential for increased support for a certificate)
RCVS, VDS, and one veterinary membership of choice paid
