Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a small animal practice in Hertfordshire for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and welcoming team.

Based within a busy retail park setting inside a well-known pet store, the practice benefits from a convenient location, modern equipment, and plenty of onsite parking. The practice is located around 25 miles north-west of London, with excellent transport links, making it a great base for those who enjoy easy access to both the capital and surrounding countryside.

You will be joining a supportive team consisting of 3 vets, 2 nurses, 2 student nurses, 1 VCA and 2 receptionists.

This is a busy first opinion practice, providing the opportunity to work up a wide range of interesting cases. The team enjoys regular case discussions and collaborative learning, helping everyone continue to develop their clinical knowledge.

The practice operates in a fast-paced but highly supportive environment, and applications are welcomed from vets of all experience levels. This role could suit an experienced vet looking for great work-life balance, or someone earlier in their career wanting to develop their skills with strong support.

The Role

Full or part-time considered

Flexible working pattern

4-day week (full-time)

Shared weekend rota 1 in 3 Saturdays and Sundays

Package

Competitive salary up to £75,000 depending on experience
