Head Veterinary Nurse – South West London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Head Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established small animal practice in South West London.

This role would suit a confident RVN with strong clinical experience who is passionate about leadership, team development, and maintaining high standards of nursing care and client service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and comfortable supporting and inspiring a multi-disciplinary clinical team.

The Role

Leading and supporting the nursing team (RVNs, students, and VCAs)
Driving high clinical and patient care standards across the practice
Supporting training, mentoring, and professional development within the nursing team
Assisting with rota coordination and clinical workflow
Ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the nursing service
Participation in a rota including 1 in 4 weekends (if applicable to practice pattern)
