**Registered Veterinary Nurse – Sole Branch RVN Opportunity**
**Independent Practice | Moreton-in-Marsh, Cotswolds**
**Permanent or Locum-to-Perm Considered | Full & Part Time Considered**
**£14.29–£17 per hour DOE**
Are you an RVN who enjoys autonomy, building client relationships, and having genuine ownership in your role – without the pressures of people management?
My client, a highly reputable, independent veterinary group in the stunning Cotswolds, is seeking a confident and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their modern, well-equipped branch practice in Moreton-in-Marsh.
This is a genuinely unique opportunity for an RVN looking for more independence and responsibility within a supportive wider team structure.
**The Practice**
This well-established independent veterinary group has built an excellent reputation for high clinical standards, team culture, and genuine investment in its people. With a large hospital site supporting multiple branches, the team provides exceptional small animal, equine, and farm services across the region.
You will benefit from the autonomy of branch life whilst still being fully supported by an experienced wider clinical and leadership team. This is a practice that values collaboration, psychological safety, clinical excellence, and career development.
**The Role**
This is a *sole RVN branch role*, where you will be the primary nurse within the branch and play an integral role in the day-to-day clinical running of the service.
Importantly, whilst you will be the *lead RVN at branch level*, this is **not** a Head Nurse or people management position. There are no line management responsibilities – instead, this role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys ownership, initiative, and working independently.
You will be involved in:
• All routine RVN duties and inpatient care
• Running and developing nurse clinics
• Building strong client relationships and continuity of care
• Supporting branch engagement and growth initiatives
• Stock control and medication ordering
• Clinical administration and audits
• Working collaboratively with the branch vet and wider hospital team
**What We’re Looking For**
• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience
• Confident, organised and proactive
• Comfortable working independently and using initiative
• Strong client communication skills
• Someone who enjoys autonomy but values support when needed
**The Package**
• Full or part-time working patterns considered
• Permanent opportunity with flexibility around hours
• Branch opening hours between 8:00am – 6:30pm
• Optional OOH/weekend shifts available at hospital level (if desired, not essential)
• £14.29–£17 per hour depending on experience
• £750 CPD allowance + paid CPD leave
• Funded certificates encouraged
• RCVS fees paid
• Pension scheme, wellbeing support, staff discounts and enhanced benefits
**Considering Locum?**
My client would also consider **locum cover whilst the permanent position is being filled**, making this an ideal opportunity for someone wanting flexibility. Equally, a **locum-to-permanent arrangement** would be welcomed for the right person wanting to get a feel for the practice before committing longer term.
